Intro
As Connectivity Platform Team Leader, you will guide the engineering, operation, and continuous improvement of secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise connectivity services across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
You will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Platform Engineering teams to strengthen platform availability, security, automation, and operational excellence. This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys combining technical depth with people leadership, stakeholder partnership, and practical delivery.
Your Role:
- You will lead and develop a team of connectivity platform engineers, setting clear priorities, supporting performance, and enabling professional growth.
- You will oversee the engineering, operation, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of enterprise connectivity services across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
- You will help ensure platform availability, resilience, security, performance, disaster recovery readiness, and effective incident response.
- You will drive modernization, standardization, automation, and Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- You will support CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
- You will collaborate with cybersecurity teams on governance, policy enforcement, identity management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with relevant standards.
- You will partner with application teams, enterprise architects, vendors, and technology partners to align connectivity services with business and digital transformation needs.
- You will monitor connectivity consumption, support budgeting and capacity forecasting, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Your Profile:
- You bring experience in enterprise networking, connectivity services, cloud connectivity, network security, and platform automation.
- You have experience leading or coordinating technical teams, including coaching, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
- You are confident working across hybrid cloud and enterprise technology environments.
- You have hands-on experience with relevant technologies such as Azure, AWS, Cisco networking, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git, and Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
- You communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is helpful; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
