The Human Resources Intern is to support the team in achieving project goals by conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of key deliverables. This role
is designed to provide practical experience while developing essential skills necessary for a professional career. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with HR administrative tasks and daily department operations.
- Support HR projects related to employee engagement, process improvement, onboarding, compliance, and employee development.
- Assist with maintaining employee records and ensuring HR documentation is organized and up to date.
- Support payroll preparation activities, including timecard reviews, employee data updates, and payroll documentation.
- Help track employee leave, vacation balances, holidays, and attendance-related information.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job opportunities, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing welcome materials, scheduling onboarding sessions, and coordinating required documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and HR metrics.
- Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, surveys, and internal events.
- Assist with maintaining HR databases, personnel files, and compliance documentation.
- Help coordinate training, learning, and development initiatives.
- Support communication initiatives and employee announcements.
- Assist with auditing and validating HR information for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide support for special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
