Equipment Product Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

Join the Offshore Execution Equipment Product & Portfolio Management team as an Equipment Product Manager. You will be responsible for defining what should exist in the equipment portfolio and ensuring a clear product vision across platforms. You translate customer, fleet, and market insights into cross-platform product roadmaps, guide strategic choices via governance forums, and ensure that development is aligned with value, cost, and long-term portfolio direction. This role is positioned upstream of delivery—focusing on defining the right solutions, while working closely with Platform Managers who ensure execution and delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Own the product vision and cross-platform equipment roadmaps
• Define what should exist in the portfolio based on customer needs, fleet insights, and strategic priorities
• Translate market trends and operational feedback into product direction and feature pipelines.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle for designated equipment, ensuring seamless transitions from concept to end-of-life.
• Drive strategic techno-commercial assessments to improve existing equipment and develop new components.

What You Bring

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or similar)
• 8+ years’ experience in product management, product strategy, or technical development
• Strong experience in complex industrial products / energy sector
• Proven ability to translate customer insights into product strategy and roadmap
• Solid understanding of business cases, cost drivers, and value trade-offs
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

This small yet impactful team is responsible for defining all new developments in offshore wind power equipment. Focusing on product management, value engineering, and platform management, the team ensures that every project aligns with strategic business objectives. The collaborative environment encourages open communication, distilling complex information into easily understandable insights, fostering a culture of storytelling and shared understanding. The ability to challenge ideas at all levels is crucial in navigating the complexities of the organization and its products.
