Amentum is seeking a Housing Supervisor to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Housing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily housing operations, customer service activities, and administrative support within an overseas housing environment. This position provides leadership, guidance, and operational oversight to ensure efficient tenant services, accurate occupancy management, and compliance with contract requirements, Department of State regulations, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and oversight of housing operations, ensuring quality services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements.

Interact with the Contract Manager, customers, tenants, and support personnel to address housing needs and operational requirements.

Provide superior customer service during tenant check-in and check-out processes.

Communicate housing policies, procedures, and requirements to customers and tenants.

Issue keys, access materials, and required check in/check out documentation.

Assist tenants with lockouts, access issues, and minor service related concerns.

Maintain accurate records related to occupancy, supplies, housing assignments, and office operations.

Monitor occupancy status within assigned housing units and provide updates as required.

Ensure reservation system information is entered accurately and maintained appropriately.

Coordinate furniture, linen, and equipment movement while submitting replacement requests as needed.

Receive and document building maintenance service requests and customer concerns.

Maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety remains the highest priority within assigned areas of responsibility.

Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements.

Support leadership with administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects.

Ensure all housing operations are conducted in accordance with:

- Company policies and procedures
- Contract requirements
- Standard Operating Procedures

Adapt to changing priorities, scheduled, and operational requirements in a dynamic overseas environment.

Performs other job-related duties assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of related leadership experience in customer service, housing operations, lodging, or property management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience supporting housing or property management operations in an overseas environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and support daily operational requirements.
- Expert computer skills, including proficiency with:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
- Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
- Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license to legally operate a motor vehicle.
- Experience working effectively with multinational personnel and demanding customers.
- Knowledge of principles and processes associated with contract support responsibilities at overseas facilities.

Working Environment
This position is located on Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT), a remote overseas location supporting U.S. Government operations. Employees may work in office, industrial, warehouse, port, airfield, and outdoor environments and may be exposed to high temperatures, humidity, inclement weather, noise, dust, and uneven terrain. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational requirements.
Physical Requirements
Requirements may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments. Must be able to meet all medical, security, and deployment requirements associated with assignment to a remote overseas location.
