Summary
What does the ROLE entail?
Content Creation & Publishing
- Developing and scheduling regular posts across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Creating or obtaining visually appealing content (photos, videos, stories, reels) that reflect the hotel’s personality, design, events, and guest experience.
- Organizing and coordinating photo shooting for the hotel and outlets
- Writing engaging captions and using branded hashtags across all Social medias.
- Monitoring comments, messages, and tags.
- Responding promptly to guest inquiries, feedback, or mentions.
- Managing user-generated content (e.g., re-sharing guest photos with permission)
- Ensuring visual and tonal alignment with the hotel’s brand guidelines.
- Adapting global brand campaigns to the local audience or property tone.
- Designing social media campaigns to fit the commercial initiatives.
- Supporting hotel events or activations with real-time posting and behind-the-scenes content.
- Launching contests, giveaways, or countdowns to drive engagement.
- Supportive Social Media activities in parallel with Digital Marketing campaigns (Marketing Calendar)
- Support restaurant teams in driving awareness and loyalty, leveraging the Loyalty Card program.
Analytics & Reporting on Social Media
- Tracking performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, follower growth, click-throughs).
- Identifying top-performing content and audience insights.
- Using data to refine content strategy and posting times.
Event Marketing
- Organizing and promoting in-house events (e.g., seasonal tastings, art exhibitions)
- Coordinating VIP events or press previews for media and influencers.
- Marketing of Social Events & Weddings in coordination with Event sales
Local Partnerships & Community Engagement
- Collaborating with local businesses, event organizers, and tourism boards.
- Cross-promotions with museums, restaurants, and retail outlets.
- Sponsoring or participating in local events, festivals etc.
Influencer, Creator and Press Collaboration
- Identifying, vetting, and partnering with travel, lifestyle, or food influencers.
- Hosting content creators in exchange for exposure or paid campaigns.
- Tracking results of influencer visits (reach, engagement, bookings).
- Support digital marketing in identified need markets (Marketing Calendar)
Brand Visibility & Collateral
- Coordinating press kits, brochures, and physical promotional material. (via updating the Marketing tool kit)
- Managing physical signage, branded materials, and displays in and around the hotel.
- Ensuring consistency of physical brand elements (e.g., uniforms, printed menus, in-room materials).
- Providing printed promotional materials and updates on new offerings. (Via updating the Marketing toolkit)
- Coordinating & in-design of the new menus and printing
- Ensure all content is matching Hyatt Regency brand requirements.
Communications
- Writing press release in collaboration Regional Communication team and Director of Sales and marketing
- Launch news of Hyatt Regency Amsterdam to the domestic media and influencers.
- Sharing of press releases
General
- Reporting on trends in footfall/covers or partnership performance.
- Coordinate annual marketing calendar together with Digital Marketing.
- Oversee and manage content on Third Party platforms except OTA’s and outside of sales platforms is up to date. Qualifications

Your EXPERIENCE:

A degree or certification in Hospitality or Business Administration or similar;
-
At least 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing role;

Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage;

Experience with Canva and Indesign

Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we cannot assist with Visa / permit applications).
