Join the Global Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution team and take ownership of Trade Compliance systems and processes globally. This is a business-critical transformation role combining global process ownership, governance design, S/4HANA implementation support and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration. You will play a key role in developing and implementing a new global Trade Compliance setup while supporting Novonesis' S/4HANA transformation journey.
As the connection between Trade Compliance experts, process and knowledge owners, business functions and the S/4HANA program, you will help ensure that regulatory and business requirements are translated into scalable global processes, governance structures and system solutions. The team is responsible for the global governance of Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution and contributes to supporting compliant and efficient global operations across Novonesis.
The role & your impact
This is a tactical and strategic role with global responsibility. You will own the development, implementation and long-term governance of Novonesis' global Trade Compliance processes and supporting systems. Working across functions, countries and stakeholder groups, you will drive the transition from local and manual solutions to standardized global processes and system-supported ways of working.
In this role, you will make an impact by:
- Acting as the global process and system owner for Trade Compliance processes, governance and supporting system requirements
- Developing and implementing a new Trade Compliance setup with stakeholders across the organization
- Serving as the primary Trade Compliance business owner towards the S/4HANA program, IT and implementation partners
- Translating regulatory requirements and expert input into business process requirements, functional requirements, system controls and data requirements
- Defining, documenting and owning the global Trade Compliance process framework
- Establishing and maintaining the global Trade Compliance governance model, including clear roles, responsibilities and decision-making structures
- Driving alignment between business processes, master data and system solutions
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance and Tax, Legal, Regulatory, Procurement, Master Data, Commercial and IT functions
- Supporting the potential implementation of future SAP GTS capabilities and ensuring sustainable global solutions Driving continuous improvement and process maturity across Trade Compliance disciplines
What you will need to be successful
Professional qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience from similar highly complex international companies, working across international and cross-functional environments involving Tax, Operations and multiple countries
- Experience with global process ownership, governance, business process development and translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable processes and system solutions
- Good level of SAP S/4 understanding, including knowledge of SAP's GTS module
- Strong understanding of Trade Compliance, including tax, legal and global trade aspects
- Bachelor- / Master's degree in International Trade, IT, Supply Chain or others
- Personal competencies
- Ability to conceptualize complex areas and translate them into practical solutions
- Ability to bring key stakeholders together around a common challenge and guide functional specialists towards stakeholder-aligned solutions
- Ability to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and SAP S/4 specialists
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to navigate complexity and drive alignment across multiple functions and organizational levels
Additional skills & interests we value
- Experience with S/4HANA implementation programs, working within Trade Compliance governance frameworks and driving global standardization initiatives
- Knowledge of customs processes, export control, sanctions, country of origin and supplier declaration processes

Ways of working
You will have a hybrid working setup with office presence in Lyngby and the flexibility to work both from the office and remotely. As the position has a Global scope and collaboration across multiple regions and functions, you should have the ability to travel approximately 20-40 days per year.
