SAP & Procurement Transformation Project Manager [Hybrid - Porto/Lisboa, Portugal]

We are looking for an experienced SAP & Procurement Transformation Project Manager to lead complex technology and business transformation projects in a global environment.

This role requires a strong understanding of SAP environments, Procurement processes, system integrations, and Coupa, with the ability to coordinate implementations across different countries, systems, stakeholders, and implementation partners.

This is a project leadership role rather than a people management position. You will be responsible for driving projects, integrations, vendors, timelines, dependencies, and country rollouts from planning through delivery.

Your responsibilities

• Lead complex SAP and Procurement transformation projects across multiple countries.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate implementations and rollouts across different countries and SAP environments.
• Act as the key point of contact between Procurement, Finance, IT teams, business stakeholders, and external implementation partners.
• Lead projects involving integration between SAP, Coupa, and satellite systems.
• Coordinate technical and functional teams involved in ERP and Procurement integrations.
• Ensure alignment across interfaces, data flows, integration dependencies, and implementation activities.
• Proactively identify and remove blockers, manage risks and issues, and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project governance, status reporting, documentation, change control, and stakeholder communication.
• Facilitate communication across different countries, cultures, vendors, and time zones.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience managing complex SAP projects in international or multi-country environments.
• Strong hands-on project experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience managing projects involving SAP integrations, interfaces, and connected enterprise systems.
• Solid understanding of Procurement processes, particularly Indirect / Non-Trade Procurement.
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and/or Source-to-Pay processes, including Purchase Requisitions, sourcing, Purchase Orders, approval workflows, and purchasing processes.
• Experience with Coupa, ideally in projects involving integration with SAP.
• Experience managing external vendors, implementation partners, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to understand technical discussions around system integrations without necessarily being an Integration Architect or Developer.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, and country rollouts simultaneously.
• Strong autonomy, ownership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and/or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Fluent English, with confidence working daily with international stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP MM and Procurement-related SAP processes.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI, middleware, APIs, or integration platforms.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), particularly Material and Service Master Data.
• Previous experience in Procurement or Supply Chain digital transformation programs.
• Experience working in complex landscapes with multiple ERPs and satellite systems.
• Portuguese and/or Spanish.
