Job Description

Your Tasks:

• Preparation and presentation of desserts and sweet treats
• Together with the entire pastry team, you’ll create culinary highlights and special experiences for our guests—at the highest level
• Ensuring high quality in your area of responsibility while adhering to kitchen standards
• Creativity in developing new products
• Close collaboration with the hotel’s other kitchen teams

Your Profile:

• You have relevant experience in pastry making and know how to produce work of the highest quality
• Your profession is your passion, which is reflected in the quality of your work and your style
• You are very familiar with Austrian hygiene standards and adhere to them wherever you go

The minimum gross wage for workers in the hotel and hospitality sector, as set out in the collective agreement, is €2,330 based on full-time employment.

Rosewood Vienna opened in July 2022 as the brand’s fifth property in Europe. Housed in an historic 19th century building which was the former headquarters for Erste Group Bank AG, Rosewood Vienna is ideally situated on Petersplatz, one of the most famous squares in Vienna’s Old Town. The property features a variety of dining and entertainment options, including a rooftop bar with exceptional views of the city and an intimate restaurant in a garden setting serving European cuisine and carefully crafted beverages appealing to guests and locals alike. Rosewood Vienna also features Sense, A Rosewood Spa, which serves as a private sanctuary for relaxation away from the busy sights and sounds of the city. Additionally, the hotel includes meetings and events spaces to allow for a variety of private gatherings and conferences.
