Senior Data-Driven Transformation Advisor

Within Digital & Technology Transformation (DTT), the Data & Analytics Enabling Functions department empowers the organization by delivering trusted data, scalable digital solutions, and actionable insights that support business performance and transformation.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data-Driven Transformation Advisor who will proactively shape and accelerate TenneT's transition towards a truly data-driven organization. Working closely with Finance & Performance stakeholders, senior business leaders, and other business domains, you will identify opportunities, challenge existing ways of working, and drive strategic initiatives that strengthen governance, improve decision-making, and establish sustainable operating models.

You act as an independent advisor and trusted sparring partner who translates business ambitions into practical data-driven solutions. Through your expertise, influence, and facilitation skills, you help stakeholders make informed decisions, strengthen ownership, and embed a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven performance management.

Purpose of the Role

The Senior Data-Driven Transformation Advisor enables TenneT to make better and faster decisions by strengthening the use of trusted data, governance, and performance management practices.

The role focuses on proactively identifying improvement opportunities, advising stakeholders on data-related challenges, and driving sustainable transformation initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, transparency, and performance steering. In this role, you will:

• Proactively identify opportunities and risks related to data-driven performance management, governance, and organizational effectiveness.
• Advise business leaders and stakeholders on improving decision-making through trusted data, analytics, and performance insights.
• Drive the Data-Driven Transformation agenda in close collaboration with Finance & Performance and other business stakeholders.
• Facilitate the transition towards business-owned and reusable data products.
• Establish and continuously improve governance structures, ownership models, decision rights, and accountability frameworks.
• Act as a catalyst for standardization, harmonization, and continuous improvement of reporting and performance management processes.
• Translate strategic ambitions into measurable initiatives, roadmaps, and transformation outcomes.
• Initiate and coordinate improvements in KPI frameworks, management dashboards, and performance steering methodologies.
• Align business, data, and technology stakeholders around shared objectives and priorities.
• Challenge existing practices and stimulate innovative and data-driven ways of working.
• Monitor adoption, identify barriers, and recommend corrective actions to improve business value realization.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder networks to ensure alignment and sustainable implementation of improvements.

• A permanent contract with a two-month probation period, based on a 40-hour workweek.
• A salary in Scale 9, ranging from €4816,- to €9472,- gross per month, plus 8% holiday allowance, and a 6% year-end bonus.
• A solid pension plan through ABP, with TenneT covering 70% of the pension premium.

Persoonlijk kennismaken

Je maakt kennis met twee toekomstige collega’s: jouw leidinggevende, directe collega’s of de recruiter. Het doel van dit kennismakingsgesprek is om meer te weten te komen over jouw achtergrond, ambities en competenties. Daarbij maken we gebruik van de STARR-methodiek en bespreken we jouw ervaringen aan de hand van praktische voorbeelden uit eerdere werkzaamheden en activiteiten. Natuurlijk vertellen we je ook graag meer over de functie, het team en TenneT als organisatie. Na een paar dagen bellen we je op om onze ervaringen te delen.

Het tweede gesprek

In dit gesprek gaan we wat dieper in op de match. In dit gesprek maak je kennis met twee andere collega’s. Je leert elkaar beter kennen en gaat meer inhoudelijk de diepte in. Wij zijn graag transparant en eerlijk in wat het werk inhoudt. Zo weet jij ook precies wat je kan verwachten. Is het een match? Dan gaan we over naar het aanbod.

Assessment voor leidinggevende functies

Voor leidinggevende functies vinden we het belangrijk om meer te ontdekken over jouw capaciteiten, drijfveren en kwaliteiten. Dan nodigen we je uit om een assessment te doen. Je hoort vooraf wat het assessment inhoudt en hoe het werkt. De resultaten mag je natuurlijk altijd zelf inzien.

Het aanbod

We zullen je snel een goed aanbod doen. Je krijgt een salarisvoorstel en een overzicht van ons arbeidsvoorwaardenpakket.

De screening

Met een ondertekende arbeidsovereenkomst op zak is er nog één stap te gaan: de pre employment screening. TenneT heeft de maatschappelijke taak om Nederland 24/7 aan te houden. We moeten risico’s op verstoringen zoveel mogelijk uitsluiten. Daarom vragen we van elke medewerker minimaal een Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag. Als blijkt dat er geen bezwaren zijn tegen je aanstelling, staat niets jouw start meer in de weg. Voor sommige functies is een VOG niet afdoende en volgt een uitvoerige screening, zoals een AIVD. Jij kan pas van start gaan wanneer de screening(s) succesvol zijn afgerond.

Onboarding

Nadat alles rond is ga je op de eerste werkdag van de maand starten met jouw onboarding bij TenneT. Twee dagen met al jouw nieuwe collega's om te ontdekken wie TenneT is en hoe wij werken. Je leert alle ins & outs kennen. Daarna ga je verder met onboarden binnen je team. Welkom!
