We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a well-established 50+m sailing yacht from approximately November.
This is a rotational position working a 10-week-on/10-week-off schedule. The successful candidate will join an established engineering rotation partner and they also run with a deck engineer.
This is a a dual-season Mediterranean and Caribbean programme and is used predominantly by the owner and his family, with occasional charter.
They have undergone a winter refit and is preparing for the upcoming Caribbean season.
Requirements:
- Minimum Y3 qualification
- Previous Chief Engineer experience on a similar-sized yacht
- Sailing-yacht experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical, maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Comfortable contributing practically during refit and maintenance periods
- Professional, personable and able to integrate into an established team
Package:
- Start: Approximately November
- Rotation: 10 weeks on/off
