Your tasks
- Define and execute the New Product Introduction (NPI) strategy and plan in line with product roadmaps defined by Product Line Management, customer deployment requirements, market introduction milestones, and business objectives..
- As primary focus of the role, lead the end-to-end introduction of Kontron's MCX solution and associated OAM capabilities, coordinating the readiness of all constituent products, subsystems, and third-party components to ensure successful deployment, operation, support, and lifecycle management in customer environments.
- Define and manage product readiness criteria and introduction milestones, covering product maturity, deployment, integration, documentation, training, support, tools and operational readiness.
- Work closely with Product Management, R&D, system architects and engineering teams to identify and resolve product, integration and operational gaps before and during customer introduction.
- Drive deployment and operational industrialisation, ensuring installation, commissioning, configuration, migration, upgrade, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support processes are established, repeatable, scalable, and increasingly automated.
- Prepare and coordinate first customer deployments, pilots, and early market introductions together with Services and Operations teams. Capture then field experience, issues, and lessons learned and driving them back into product, deployment, and operational improvements.
- Drive commercial readiness and go-to-market preparation, working closely with Product Management, Business Operations, Marketing, and Pre-Sales to support business case validation, pricing and costing models, value proposition development, and successful market adoption.
- Monitor NPI execution and readiness, including milestones, risks, dependencies, quality indicators, customer feedback, and introduction KPIs, ensuring a successful transition to standard delivery, operations, and support.
Your qualification
- Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Several years of experience in NPI, Product Management, System Engineering, Solution Delivery, or Technical Programme Management.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional product introduction, deployment, or technology transition initiatives.
- Experience in mission-critical communications, telecommunications, or railway communication systems.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, release governance, deployment readiness, and operational support processes.
- Knowledge of GSM-R, FRMCS, MCX, IP-based communication systems, or railway telecommunications is an advantage.
- Fluent English, French and/or German a plus

We offer a competitive gross annual salary starting at EUR 70,000 per year. A higher salary commensurate with your actual qualifications and experience is possible.
