Internship Quality Assurance

Your role:

As our new Quality Assurance & Data Analytics intern, you will help Interfood improve how we identify and manage supplier risks using data.

At Interfood, we work with dairy suppliers and food manufacturers worldwide. Quality, food safety and supplier reliability are essential to our business. That's why we want to move from reacting to supplier risks to predicting them before they become problems.

During your internship, you will explore how different data sources can help us better understand supplier performance and identify potential risks.

As our new intern, you will:

• Explore supplier data: map internal and external data sources related to supplier quality, food safety and performance.
• Analyze trends: Identify patterns, correlations and factors that may help predict supplier risks.
• Build a predictive model: use your findings to develop a model that supports better decision-making.
• Test your findings: validate your model using real supplier cases.
• Explore digital tools: investigate software and visualization solutions, such as Power BI, to make insights accessible.
• Share your recommendations: present your findings and suggest how Interfood can use them in practice.

You will work closely with colleagues from Quality Assurance, Commercial and IT, contributing to a project with real business impact.

Your profile

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food & Business, Data Science, Statistics, Agri & Food Innovation, Applied Mathematics or a related field (HBO or university). You have a strong interest in data analytics, predictive modelling and digital tools. You enjoy working with data, identifying patterns and turning insights into practical solutions. You have an analytical mindset and enjoy challenging existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement. You have experience with Excel, Power BI, Python, R or similar tools (a plus, but not a requirement!). You have strong communication skills, enjoy collaborating with different teams and stakeholders and a good command of English, both written and spoken. Our offer
