Quality Specialist / Technologist

For our Client, an international company operating in the entertainment and consumer products industry, we are looking for a Quality Technologist to join their international Quality Assurance team.

This is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative organisation with a global reach and work on products distributed across international markets. The role combines quality assurance, product safety, regulatory compliance and supply chain coordination, with close cooperation with international teams, licensors, suppliers and retail partners.

You will report directly to the Head of Quality Assurance (UK) and work from Gdańsk.

Your responsibilities

As a Quality Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet applicable legal, safety and quality requirements across global markets.

Your key responsibilities:

• Ensuring products comply with applicable legislation and safety standards across global markets.
• Ensuring products meet licensor quality and safety requirements.
• Reviewing artwork against QA and licensor requirements.
• Preparing testing documentation and reviewing test reports.
• Reviewing pre-shipment inspection results and production samples.
• Managing testing and inspection timelines and the critical path.
• Preparing technical files and product risk assessments.
• Responding to retailer and customer quality-related requests.
• Maintaining internal databases and project management systems.
• Managing complaints, preparing corrective action reports and following actions through to completion.
• Reviewing packaging weights, dimensions and composition to ensure compliance with relevant packaging regulations.

Essential experience, skills, and requirements:

• Previous experience working with global Toy (or similar) Safety regulations and standards
• Knowledge of European Packaging Regulations in the different countries
• Excellent level of written and spoken English (minimum B2)
• Supply chain experience and a clear understanding of critical paths and process
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work as part of the team
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills
• Exemplary attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities effectively.
