Your Task

T-Systems is looking for a senior Software Architect with extensive experience in the Java ecosystem and associated technologies, with an innovative mentality and orientation to technological evolution, to lead the definition of robust, secure and scalable architectures, as well as the transformation of solutions into highly complex business projects, applying market standards and best practices. You must provide knowledge and technical leadership within the team in multiple facets: technological dialogue with the client, preparation of proposals, definition of the value offer, dissemination of knowledge and designs of functional and technical solutions and architectures, always incorporating innovative approaches.

Responsibilities

• Define and design architectures based on the Java ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs) in private and public cloud environments
• Design solutions oriented to microservices, distributed, event-driven and cloud-native architectures
• Evaluate and incorporate new technological trends (AI, automation, observability, platform engineering, etc.) when they provide competitive advantages
• Define and apply synchronization and coexistence methodologies and strategies for the modernization of platforms and applications
• Identify opportunities for the application of Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities within the proposed solutions
• Technically lead the execution of projects, establishing standards aligned with the market and promoting good practices
• Act as a technological reference for the customer, participating in technical workshops, defining a technological roadmap and making strategic decisions
• Prepare technical proposals, estimates and design documents (HLD/LLD)
• Collaborate with DevOps teams in defining and executing CI/CD, containerization and deployment strategies on Kubernetes platforms
• Promote continuous improvement, the simplification of architectures and the adoption of innovative approaches
• Identify technical risks and define mitigation plans
• Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team

Your Profile

We are seeking a Senior Software Architect with extensive experience in the Java ecosystem, cloud technologies, and microservices architectures. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical leadership capabilities, innovative thinking, and the ability to design robust, secure, and scalable solutions for highly complex business projects.

Must Have Skills

• Senior Technician, Degree or Engineering in Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Architect or Tech Lead
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development within the Java ecosystem
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Knowledge of architectural patterns (DDD, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture)
• Experience in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience in integration solutions including API Management, events, and queues
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Security knowledge including OAuth2, JWT, and Keycloak
• Experience in modernizing applications and platforms
• Experience in technical team leadership
• Participation in the definition of value offerings and proposals with demonstrable technical leadership
• Experience working in teams with agile environments
• Technological curiosity with a maker mentality and orientation to experiment, design and build innovative solutions
• Constant interest in new tools, architectures and different technological approaches
• Open-mindedness with a focus on learning and innovation in different technological areas
• Ability to evaluate technological trends with practical judgment and business approach
• Collaborative profile with predisposition to assume responsibilities and technologically lead initiatives, projects and teams
• High capacity for communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to translate complex ideas into feasible and practical technical solutions
