Key responsibilities in your new role

• Measurement: Support in performing measurements for the development of novel optical materials
• Fabrication: General assistance with fabrication tasks for photonics development
• Data Processing: Evaluation of measurement data and preparation for further analysis
• Statistics: Statistical analysis of measurement results

Further Information:

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time / Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: min. 12 months

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Enrolled in a technical degree at a University of Applied Sciences or University
• Technical Skills: First experience with technical measurement tools; hands-on exposure in an optical laboratory is a plus
• Motivation: High level of motivation and willingness to evolve with the topics at hand
• Language Skills: Fluent in English; German skills or willingness to learn are a plus

Additional information

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2026-05-01.pdf).
