Assembly Technician
Location: Delft
Hours per week: 32-40

At QED Technologies Europe, you help build some of the most precise measurement machines in the world — from individual modules to a complete, calibrated system. Within our small, international team in Delft, you get hands-on ownership of the assembly process and the freedom to grow into a broadly deployable role across our production line.
What you will do
As an Assembly Technician, you assemble and commission our high-precision metrology systems, working closely with our Assembly Engineers.
Your key responsibilities:
- Assemble modules according to work instructions, using tooling where needed
- Integrate complex modules into a complete, working system
- Commission the machine step by step, resolve malfunctions, and independently carry out tests and quality checks
- Work with advanced measurement equipment to perform quality checks and calibrations
- Log measurements and assembly history in the machine passport
- Involve our Assembly Engineers when you encounter unexplained deviations in assembly or measurements
- Contribute feedback on production documentation and flag improvement opportunities with concrete proposals

What you bring
You are a driven, technically skilled colleague with a real passion for the craft. You have a steady, grounded personality, take ownership, and feel comfortable speaking up in a team.
Your profile includes:
Strong intrinsic motivation for technology: you enjoy investigating, building, and getting the details right
- Hands-on experience with complex technology; we welcome both young talent and more experienced candidates who complement our team
- A technical background in Mechatronics, Automotive, or similar through completed education or equivalent hands-on experience
- Accurate and administratively precise way of working, comfortable using modern tools and a laptop
- Dutch is your working language of choice, though English is also welcome
