At Christiansborg, we prepare daily lunch and dinner services, operate cafés, and provide catering for events of all sizes.

On busy days, we can serve up to 1,200 guests across the Parliament's restaurants, cafés, and event venues. During elections, major political events, and special occasions, the pace increases and priorities can change quickly. This creates a dynamic and exciting working environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential.

You will become part of a team of more than 20 colleagues, including chefs, kitchen staff, waiters, and service professionals who work closely together to achieve a common goal: delivering outstanding dining experiences for our guests every single day.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparing hot and cold dishes with a focus on quality, flavour, and seasonal ingredients
• Producing catering for conferences, receptions, and special events
• Contributing ideas for menu planning, with a strong focus on reducing food waste
• Providing friendly and professional service to guests
• Supporting smooth kitchen operations and assisting where needed
• Working with food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and daily quality controls

Working Hours

Working hours are scheduled between 06:00 and 21:00 and will be agreed upon individually.

Evening and weekend shifts will occur in connection with events and special functions.

Who Are You?

You are a trained chef with experience from a staff restaurant, catering operation, large-scale kitchen, restaurant, or a similar environment. Above all, you have a genuine passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced and varied setting.

In addition, we are looking for someone who:

• Works in a structured and responsible manner
• Has a strong eye for quality, detail, and the overall guest experience
• Is welcoming, service-minded, and professional when interacting with guests
• Remains calm and adaptable when priorities change
• Has a positive attitude towards teamwork and enjoys finding solutions rather than obstacles
