Production Manager

Step into the role

At MilDef, production is a strategic capability and a key part of our continued growth. We are now looking for a Production Manager to lead our new production site in Helsingborg - one of MilDef’s two production sites.

You will have full responsibility for the Helsingborg production operations, combining strong day-to-day execution with developing the organization and capabilities needed for continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and take full responsibility for production at our Helsingborg site
• Secure delivery precision, quality, productivity, and operational stability
• Lead and develop a high-performing production organization
• Drive capacity planning, production scaling, and continuous improvement
• Develop efficient production processes, structures, and ways of working
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, security, and regulatory requirements
• Manage production performance, operational risks, and manufacturing economics
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management

What you bring

• Solid leadership experience from manufacturing or industrial production
• Experience managing complex production operations and leading through growth and change
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality, operational KPIs, and manufacturing economics
• Experience from low-volume/high-mix production environments
• A hands-on, structured, and execution-focused leadership style
• Strong ability to engage people, build teams, and create followership
• Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management skills

Experience from defense, aerospace, automotive, medtech, or another highly regulated industry is highly valued, as is experience from scaling or establishing production operations.
