As an IoT Service Engineer, you ensure service delivery and support, facilitate the correct routing of incidents and operational questions, support self-servicing help needs, and work closely with suppliers, Product Owners, Deployment Teams, regions, and engineering teams to ensure product success delivery and operation.
Your responsibilities would include:
- ensuring consistency of the overall solution
- working with the Product Owner to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application support requirements
- managing the quality of the support solutions and processes
- identifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposing how to resolve these
- keeping up with relevant developments in own functional area and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge
- partnering and influencing PO to introduce enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero defect culture
- being responsible for ensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Quality, Compliance);
- being a dedicated team member that remain assigned to the Product Team over longer periods of time, with a possibility of “L1 support” (if by when directing support requests he/she can already take action with the tools available)
- being a tech-savvy team member who develops products with innovative elements
- being willing to help other team members with removing impediments
- understanding business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories, assessing the complexity of these and translate into implementable solutions and configurations
- ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements and architecture standards
- collaborating with different Corporate Supply Chain Process owners to determine and meet their reporting and analytics needs
- collaborating with a team of analytics enablement platform product and advance analytics to design, build and support internal business intelligence / analytics platforms to aggregate data across internal and external technical sources and disseminate analytical insights globally within the company
- raising cultural awareness and handling of communication styles.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- experience with safety, maintenance and continuous improvement processes in a manufacturing environment
- a strong technical background with experience in one or more IT areas and ability to work across a broad range of business and IT-related subject-matter areas
- experience with network and security technologies, including firewall management
- understanding of (batch) manufacturing modelling-, integration-, and security standards, primarily: ISA88/95
- proven record and hands-on experience in support organizations, troubleshooting and service delivery
- experience in SCADA/Historian systems (Kepware ServerEX, Ignition, Proficy, etc.)
- experience with digital services solutions for the shopfloor, such as service management solutions, e.g. providing services for Continuous Improvement (TPM) and Safety
- strong experience in Historian/IoT connectivity and different OT protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Siemens Suite, Allen Bradley)
- PLC programming skills
- familiarity with OSI model
- proactiveness in researching/trying solutions and documenting in Knowledge DB (CB IoT Confluence page, etc)
- excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
- ability to recognize the corporate strategy and understand stakeholder perspective
- a team player mindset and are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
- fluent English skills.
You’re a perfect candidate if you also have:
- experience with RCA, ServiceNow, ITIL
