We are seeking a passionate Project Cybersecurity Manager to lead the design and development of robust cybersecurity solutions for rail systems. You will work alongside dedicated teams, taking ownership of complex projects that safeguard critical infrastructure and shape the future of mobility. As a professional and team manager (Ag-09), you will drive real-world impact through technical leadership and collaborative problem-solving.
Your Role, Your Impact
- Develop scalable cybersecurity strategies for rail projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and future-proofing systems.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with engineering, IT, and operations teams to integrate security into every phase of project delivery.
- Establish and maintain reliable security controls, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities and ensuring operational continuity.
- Champion innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and implementing advanced security solutions tailored to rail environments.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across teams, building a culture of continuous improvement and cybersecurity awareness.
- You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering domain.
- Experience or understanding of architecture, design, and development.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations like ISO 2700X, 62443, NIST, and NIS.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions, risk analysis methods, and system/network architecture concepts.
- Strong understanding of rail signalling systems, network security, and threat intelligence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate system security.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in English languages and proficiency in Dutch would be a plus.
- A proactive approach to learning and applying new cybersecurity technologies.

- the salary range between €5500 – 7200 gross/ month depending on the relevant experience.
