Mission:
You will contribute to the mechanical development and continuous improvement of the AR3, working across design, prototyping, testing and implementation. You’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with a complex UAV, solve real engineering challenges and see your work go from concept to a product that actually flies.

Main Responsabilities:
- Support the mechanical development and continuous improvement of the AR3;
- Translate engineering requirements and ideas into practical, functional and manufacturable mechanical designs;
- Design, adapt and improve mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools;
- Build, adapt and test prototypes, iterating on designs based on testing and real-world results;
- Support the development of product changes, from initial concept and design through prototyping, testing and implementation;
- Identify mechanical issues and contribute to root cause analysis and practical solutions;
- Work closely with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and other teams to bring products and improvements into production;
- Consider manufacturability, materials, assembly and fabrication methods throughout the design process;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the AR3 platform.
Profile & Rqeuirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field (mandatory);
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software (preferred);
- Previous experience in mechanical design, product development, prototyping or a similar environment is valued;
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials and manufacturing processes;
- Familiarity with fabrication methods such as 3D printing, machining and moulding is valued;
- Good level of English (B2 or above); Portuguese is a plus;
- Hands-on and practical mindset, with a willingness to work directly with physical products and prototypes;
- Proactive, curious and solution-oriented;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Willingness to work on-site across both Caldas da Rainha and Leiria.
