You'll make an impact by
- You support the creation of modular 3D assets such as conveyor belts, robotic arms, and material flow elements for use in procedural assembly, together with the team.
- Building on this, you contribute to procedural world generation concepts and support the exploration of modular design patterns, noise functions, and rule-based systems for dynamic environment creation.
- You contribute to the integration of assets and systems into real-time engines and collaborate closely with the development team on real-time simulation workflows.
- Throughout your work, you experiment with shader-driven effects and animated materials to bring realistic and visually engaging simulations to life
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: You are currently successfully enrolled in a degree program such as Computer Science, Game Design, Digital Media, Media Informatics, or a related field
- Experience and Skills:
- Solid hands-on experience with 3D modeling software, including modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, and working with PBR materials
- Confidence working with animated materials and shader-driven effects, such as scrolling textures or surface motion simulation
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, e.g. Python, Rust, C#, or similar, and an interest or experience in procedural generation concepts like modular design patterns, noise functions, or rule-based systems
- Ways of Working: You are enthusiastic, creative, and enjoy collaborating at the intersection of art and code
- Languages: Very good English skills
