We are looking to expand our DevOps team that specializes in Broadcasting infrastructure.

Overview:

As a DevOps Infrastructure engineer for Provide, you will be a key player in a team that’s responsible for automating the largest media broadcasting platform worldwide. Within this team, you will work on cutting edge technology for both automation and continuous deployment in application delivery.

Your goal will be to optimize and automate a globally scaled media processing platform and infrastructure for events that entertain and inspire people all over the world. The largest sports events, breaking news, infrastructure in mobile units, you will be part of all of them. Projects you will be working on contain the FIFA World Cup, NFL Super Bowl, F1, Wimbledon and many more.

Day-to-day, you will be concerned with the automation and continuous deployment in application delivery, present in most phases of the software development lifecycle. You, together with your team, will be responsible for the automated deployment, reliability, security, performance, monitoring deployments and infrastructure.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role as DevOps Infrastructure Engineer, please consider the following skills:

The skills you need for the job:

• Kubernetes
• Ansible / Terraform
• Linux administration
• AWS / GCP
• Advanced communication skills in English

It would be awesome if you have experience with:

• Python
• Bash Scripting

Your responsibilities:

Together with your team members, you will be responsible for the following.

• Designing and implement infrastructures and processes that support reliable, performant, secured application deployments.
• Scaling out and supporting our deployment platforms to meet growing demand
• Design, develop, and deploy tools and frameworks to improve and automate software releases.
• Apply your experience implementing infrastructure as a code, transforming release pipelines and deploying into production with a NoOps mindset on highly performant DevOps pipelines. Add quality checks and test automation for your Infrastructure as Code.
• Automate provisioning of infrastructure and code by leveraging the latest in configuration management tools, containers and service orchestrators.
• Benchmark & optimize key operations metrics, ensure we meet operational SLAs.
• Provide third line support for the automated application deployments and provisioned infrastructure.
• Contribute to a no-blame culture that values learning, transparency, accountability, trust, kindness, and mutual respect.
• Collaborate with international colleagues for globally scaled projects.
