PR & Communications Manager

At Vlisco, every collection has a story to tell. As our PR & Communications Manager, you'll help bring those stories to life through inspiring content, meaningful media relations, and creative campaigns that connect with audiences around the world.

Working closely with colleagues across Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Creative Studio and Marketing Operations, you'll shape the voice of our brand across a variety of channels. Whether you're writing campaign copy, building media relationships, or creating engaging content, your storytelling helps strengthen the unique identity of Vlisco and inspires people to connect with our brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute PR strategies, campaigns, and partnerships that support Vlisco's brand and business objectives;
• Create compelling content for a wide range of marketing channels, including campaigns, social media, email marketing, website content, and print materials;
• Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other corporate communications;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and strategic partners;
• Organise and coordinate press events, launches, and media activities;
• Monitor media coverage and evaluate the performance of PR initiatives;
• Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the Vlisco brand voice;
• Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other intern and external stakeholders to develop integrated marketing campaigns;
• Continuously identify opportunities to strengthen the Vlisco brand through impactful storytelling and creative communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience in PR, copywriting, or brand communications, either in-house or at an agency;
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong eye for detail;
• French language skills are considered an advantage;
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform well under tight deadlines;
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently;
• Experience within the fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG industry is an advantage;
• An existing network within the fashion or media industry is a plus;
• You are available to work full-time;

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
