Here is what the job entails

As Head of Digital & Service Innovation, you will lead an established team responsible for driving growth beyond our traditional metering business. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating the adoption of Kamstrup’s Grid Management Services, developing new digital offerings, and identifying opportunities that create value for utilities and energy companies across Europe.

More specifically, you will be:

• Defining and executing the strategy for Grid Management Services and future digital service offerings
• Driving commercialization and go-to-market activities across international markets
• Supporting sales organizations in accelerating growth and expanding market adoption
• Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of specialists within business development and service innovation
• Creating the structures, processes, and governance needed to scale new offerings successfully

Meet your future team

With a direct reference to our Senior Director, Product Management - Electricity, you will become part of the Product Management leadership team. More specifically, you will lead the Digital & Service Innovation team within Electricity. You will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled specialists working with business development, commercialization, service innovation, and digital solutions. Working closely with Product & Commercial Management, Solution Management, Sales, and country organizations, you will turn market opportunities into scalable business ventures.

The team is responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling new growth opportunities through Grid Management Services, data-driven solutions, and innovative commercial offerings. We work closely with product and commercial management, solution specialists, sales organizations, and customers to create measurable business value and accelerate market adoption.

• Have experience leading business development, product management, innovation, consulting, or commercial organizations
• Possess strong strategic and analytical capabilities combined with a pragmatic mindset
• Understand how to build scalable service offerings and recurring revenue streams
• Thrive in a role that requires collaboration across sales, product management, technology, and executive leadership
• Ideally have experience from the energy, utility, software, IoT, SaaS, or infrastructure sectors, which will be considered an advantage
