MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Requisitioning Agent to join our team in Waldmohr, Germany. The selected candidate will provide accounting and administrative support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
*Important Note*: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Independently manages a high volume of requisitions for a wide variety of materials, supplies, and services while maintaining daily vendor contact, conducting limited market research, and recommending suppliers, pricing, and delivery options to the Buyer.
- Tracks all Purchase Requisitions through conversion into Purchase Orders while maintaining compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations, including a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Reviews, updates, and analyzes logistical data and parts within ManTech's proprietary database, maintaining status reports, spreadsheets, and databases to fulfill statistical data requests from the Program Management Office and Government POCs.
- Plans, organizes, and manages multiple projects within a team environment while executing independent assignments and supporting the Procurement Team across all aspects of logistical support.
- Manages multiple projects in collaborative settings, with technical proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and standard office equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered; must possess a valid U.S. or E.U. passport with a minimum of two years validity.
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field (OR) 3+ years of experience and a trade school certification or associate degree in a related field (OR) 6+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing logistical data and database parts records, alongside hands-on expertise tracking requisitions from initial submission through final Purchase Order (PO) generation.
- In-depth understanding of corporate procurement policies, state and local regulations, and a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) governing the acquisition of goods, materials, and services.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple logistics projects simultaneously, balancing independent assignments with cross-functional team collaboration.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and database management, with direct experience developing and maintaining spreadsheets, status reports, and statistical data for program management. Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed as well as a High School Diploma or GED.
Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. citizens must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Applicants hired as local nationals in Germany must have a current favorable LNSP or be eligible to obtain one. Non-German applicants without a current favorable LNSP must have resided in Germany for at least 12 consecutive months to be eligible for LNSP.
