The job
We are on a mission to continue strengthening our information security efforts.
Reporting to the SVP Technology & Operations, you will address critical security questions and strengthen the management of information security, incl. risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, building of awareness culture, and strengthening of detect, response and continuity capabilities. The information security effort has strong support from the board and executive management, emphasizing its business-critical nature.
You will work closely together with the Technology team to implement relevant security measures, and you will join an international organisation on a vital mission with a unique opportunity to elevate the organisation’s information security to the next level. Your contributions will be central to empowering IFDK to achieve its goals and successfully navigate the challenges of the future.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Threat & data management: Identify critical security risks and develop proactive strategies to manage and protect critical data.
- Conduct risk assessments and report: Perform continuous risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Implement security controls: Deploy security controls to mitigate identified risks and continuously monitor the effectiveness of these controls to ensure they remain compliant and adapted to emerging threats.
- Train and educate: Stay up to date with the latest security trends and facilitate ongoing training and awareness programs for all employees. Help ensure they understand their roles in the information security ecosystem to promote greater ownership and a security culture.
Your qualifications and experience
- Experience from a position where you successfully have led complex changes or projects regarding cyber and information security – preferably within the financial sector e.g. as a consultant.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and security frameworks e.g., ISO27001/2, DORA etc.
- Relevant experience in information security management, risk assessment and executive security reporting
- Relevant technical skills and knowledge about the Microsoft 365 security stack (Entra ID, Defender, Purview), security monitoring and incident response.
