What You'll Do
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant (Working Student) to support our payroll operations across London, Amsterdam, and Brussels. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their professional skills in a dynamic and international environment. Experience is not required—what matters most is your eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and contribute to a vital area of our business in a supportive and collaborative environment. We require someone working for 2-3 times per week, based in our Amsterdam office.
- Assist in preparing and processing payrolls for employees in London, Amsterdam, and Brussels.
- Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and timely updates in payroll systems.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to review and verify timesheets and other payroll-related information.
- Support the preparation of payroll reports and reconciliations.
- Respond to basic payroll inquiries from employees, escalating issues when necessary.
- Contribute to process improvements and streamlining administrative tasks.
What You'll Bring
- An enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (Dutch or French) are a plus.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with payroll systems is a bonus but not required.
- A flexible mindset to support an international team and adapt to different regional practices.

- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Working collaboratively with others and being a team player.
- Using Excel, including basic formulas and functions.

- A supportive and knowledgeable Payroll Team based in Amsterdam, Brussels, and London.
- Cross-functional teams including HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Managers and employees across the organization, providing essential support for payroll-related matters.
