About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on People & Talent Partner with also a focus in recruitment to join our team for 12 months (maternity leave cover).
The role combines People Operations & Business Partnering. You will manage hiring end-to-end, from sourcing and interviews through to offers, contracts and onboarding, while also supporting employees and managers across day-to-day People topics and the wider employee lifecycle.
Startup or scale-up experience is essential, ideally within a company growing from Series A towards Series B.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment from role intake and sourcing through to interviews, offers, contracts, onboarding and reporting.
- Recruit across Tech, GTM, Ops, and leadership roles.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define candidate profiles, assessment criteria and interview processes.
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates across different markets and countries.
- Manage candidate communication, feedback, negotiations and the overall candidate experience.
- Support employees and managers across an international and distributed team with day-to-day People topics.
- Own the employee lifecycle operationally across several European employment entities.
- Manage contracts, onboarding, probation periods, promotions, compensation adjustments, relocations, parental leave, and offboarding.
- Prepare documentation and coordinate employee changes with payroll providers, EOR partners, and external advisors.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Support performance, compensation, engagement and wider People initiatives.
- Continuously improve recruitment and People processes through AI, automation, and scalable workflows.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in People, including at least one year in a People Partnering, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or similar role.
- Startup or scale-up experience is a must. Ideally, you have supported a company during its growth from Series A to Series B.
- Experience balancing recruitment delivery with broader people-generalist responsibilities.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and confidence partnering with senior leaders.
- A proactive and ambitious approach, with the ability to identify what needs to be done and take ownership of delivering it.
- Comfortable working in an environment where priorities change, and processes may still be developing.
- Willingness to work hands-on and complete both strategic and administrative tasks.
- An AI-first mindset and genuine interest in using AI, technology and automation to work more effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple open roles and People priorities simultaneously.
- High levels of discretion, attention to detail and professional judgement.
- Delivery-focused and willing to roll up your sleeves to get the work done.
- Full Professional written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus.
