DevOps Engineer

Workplace: Lisbon / Porto (Hybrid)

Role:

• Monitoring and coordination of technical changes and operations (power outages, server moves, among others);
• Preparation and updating of technical instructions;
• Documentation of application components and operation, including software architecture, technical architecture, procedures and monitoring requirements;
• Preparation and deployment of new application versions;
• Management of process and job scheduling;
• Deployment of new application versions into production, in collaboration with the teams responsible for their development and maintenance;
• Participation in the resolution of production incidents.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field;
• Professional experience with Windows and Unix environments;
• Experience in scripting, namely Shell (KSH) and PowerShell;
• Proficiency in Oracle databases;
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, like Jenkins, Jira and Confluence;
• Knowledge of Micro Focus CSA (HCM);
• Experience with Python;
• Knowledge of BMC/Control-M or another industrial scheduler (is a plus);
• Fluency in English;
• Availability to work within a schedule between 06:30 and 19:30;
• Availability to participate in an on-call rotation;
• Good communication skills;
• Team spirit and strong collaboration skills.
