The Role
As a Senior Accounts Receivable specialist, you’ll take ownership of Stark’s receivables cycle — invoicing, collections, reconciliation and reporting — helping keep our fast-growing business financially healthy. You’ll work closely with Finance, Sales and our customers to keep cash flowing and our books accurate, while helping shape the processes our AR function runs on as we scale.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle: invoicing, collections, cash application and account reconciliation.
- Monitor customer accounts, follow up on overdue balances, and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success and external customers to ensure timely, accurate collections.
- Prepare and analyze AR aging reports, DSO metrics and cash-flow forecasts for Finance leadership.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes related to receivables, including provisions for doubtful debts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and relevant invoicing/tax regulations.
- Identify and drive process improvements to reduce DSO and strengthen the AR function as Stark scales.
- Mentor and support junior AR and finance team members.
What you will bring to Stark
- Solid experience in accounts receivable, credit control or general accounting, ideally in a fast-growing or international environment.
- Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g. SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics or similar).
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to reconciliations and problem-solving.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success and external customers.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus given Stark’s international customer base.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to bring structure and process improvements to a scaling finance function.
Why work with us?
- The chance to work on a product people are genuinely passionate about
- A fast-growing company with real momentum
- A creative, international team based in Barcelona
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Direct access to riders, race teams, and the product — this is not a remote-from-the-product role
- Subsidized lunch in our in house restaurant
- Free access to our in-house gym (including weekends!)
- 30 days of paid vacation
