As the Regional Facilities Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the immaculate presentation and operational excellence of Suitsupply stores across your assigned region. The Benelux will be your primary area of responsibility, with occasional business trips to other European locations. Travelling to stores according to a priority-driven schedule, you will perform hands-on repairs and preventative maintenance, manage work orders through the CMMS platform, and serve as the on-site point of contact for third-party contractors. Working closely with the Regional Facilities Manager, you will also support capital improvement projects that strengthen our store infrastructure for the long term. Your work will directly shape the guest experience and uphold the standards that define the Suitsupply brand, making this a genuine growth opportunity for a self-driven technician who takes pride in delivering lasting results.
What you will do
- Travel to assigned store locations according to a priority schedule set by the Regional Facilities Manager, performing general repairs, including paint touch-ups, carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical work, and fixture replacements.
- Proactively inspect facilities during every visit, logging issues and managing work orders in the CMMS platform to ensure accurate and up-to-date records by the end of each shift.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for third-party contractors, overseeing their work, verifying its quality upon completion, and maintaining positive working relationships with service providers.
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules across all assigned locations in accordance with established timelines, identifying and escalating recurring issues to the Regional Facilities Manager for long-term resolution.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure the timely completion of scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive service calls.
- Support capital improvement projects across all phases, including preparation, execution, and post-project inspection. Contribute hands-on expertise, assist with vendor coordination, and clearly communicate progress to the Regional Facilities Manager.
- Perform routine safety inspections at every store visited and immediately report any breaches of applicable local or EU health and safety legislation, as well as any other workplace safety concerns, to the Manager on Duty and the Regional Facilities Manager.
- Uphold all company policies, brand standards, and mandatory training requirements across every location while complying with applicable local and EU health and safety legislation and other statutory requirements.
Who you are
- Hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work (including fixture replacement), with the ability to troubleshoot minor HVAC issues.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments; experienced with CMMS platforms for work order management and recordkeeping.
- Construction drawing literacy is a plus.
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations independently and consistently meet deadlines.
- Clear and proactive communicator who keeps the Regional Facilities Manager and store teams well-informed, and identifies issues before they escalate.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable with regular regional travel, committed to brand standards and immaculate results that elevate the guest experience.
- Holds a valid driver's license and is willing to travel overnight to certain locations as required by the scope of the project.
- Available for after-hours work from time to time when required.
- Comfortable working at height and using ladders, and able to handle tools, equipment, and materials safely.
- Based in the Netherlands, or ready to relocate.
- Experience in retail facilities maintenance is a strong advantage.
