Mission
As a Laboratory Samples Receptionist, your mission will be to ensure the accurate, timely and compliant reception, registration and documentation of patient samples, supporting the laboratory team and contributing to the smooth daily operation of the laboratory. You will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, traceability and quality standards while providing reliable administrative and customer support, always keeping the patient at the center of our work.
What are you accountable for achieving?
Follow the laboratory's procedures for samples handling and maintaining records of patient test results;
- Dealing with customer requests by email, phone, fax, etc
- Responsible for handling documentation requirements
- Outsourcing and overseeing of sample reception area
- Providing administrative support to the laboratory team
- Ensuring accuracy and proof reading any company documentation prior to registering the data in the software
- Entering and updating client data where required using the proper software
- Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance and either must correct the problems or immediately notify the general supervisor, technical supervisor, clinical consultant, or director;
- Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications
What are we looking for?
- Degree or FP in Administration
- Knowledge or training in Biology or similar would be valuable
- Level B2 of English speaking and writing.
- Office advanced user (Outlook, Excel, word...)
- Valuable previous experience with ERP (Navision preferable)
- Previous experience in a similar role or in Healtcare sector, FIV clinics preferable.
