EHS Advisor

The EHS Advisor will support the organisation in maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, promoting a strong safety culture, and providing practical EHS guidance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day EHS advice and support to management and employees
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, audits, and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with EHS legislation, standards, and company policies
• Support environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability initiatives
• Prepare and deliver EHS training, inductions, and safety communications
• Maintain EHS records, reports, and KPIs; support audits and regulatory inspections
• Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental or related discipline (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, QQI Level 6/7, or equivalent)
• 2+ years' experience in an EHS or H&S advisory role
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and best practice
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach
