As a Control Software Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team with Control Software Engineers and Mechanical Engineers, located in Boxmeer (NL). You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the PLC and HMI software of multiple systems. In this role you are working closely with various other disciplines and with our customers.
Your days will look a lot like this:
- Development, maintenance and testing of PLC and HMI software
- Provide technical support to our (internal) customers
- Day to day discussions with other disciplines, like Mechanical and Electrical
- Prepare and upgrade/install our systems at customer locations over the world
- Maintain technical and technological knowledge within your field of expertise

- Have a Bachelor's degree in, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent through experience.
- Gained more than 8 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience in software engineering for HMI and PLC is required
- Knowledge of Exor HMI is a strong advantage (JMobile, Designer)
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric PLC is a strong advantage (Control Expert, PL7 Pro)
- Knowledge of B&R PLC is an additional advantage (Automation Studio)
- Knowledge of additional programming languages like JavaScript, VBA is a pré
- Capability in reading and understanding electrical drawings
- Available to travel abroad to our customers for approximately 20% - 30% of the time
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
