The Role & Your Impact
As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying AI-enabled solutions that address real business challenges. This is a hands-on role that combines software engineering, modern AI technologies, and close collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver solutions from concept through production and ongoing support.
Key responsibilities include:

Build and deploy AI-enabled solutions using both traditional software engineering and modern AI/GenAI technologies.

Develop solutions leveraging LLMs, AI agents, and related AI tools to solve business problems.

Design, develop, and integrate APIs, backend services, and data pipelines supporting AI products.

Support production environments through testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Apply best practices for security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI.

Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into working solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to teams adopting AI tools and platforms.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
We imagine that you bring:

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience building and operating AI-enabled applications or software solutions in production environments.

Pr ogramming skills, particularly in Python.

Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and cloud platforms.

Understanding of security, privacy, and governance requirements within enterprise AI environments.

Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
-
A practical and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to turn ideas into working solutions.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. The ability to balance technical delivery with business collaboration in a fast-moving environment.
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
It would be an advantage if you also have:

Experience with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or related generative AI technologies.

Experience with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud AI platforms, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, or AWS Bedrock.

Experience using low-code or no-code AI platforms such as Copilot Studio or Microsoft Power Platform.

Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new AI tools, technologies, and ways of working. Experience advising, coaching, or enabling colleagues in the adoption of AI solutions.

Ways of Working
This role is based in Hørsholm with the option of an alternative location in Copenhagen, and is part of an agile, collaborative team environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, platform engineers, IT, and other digital teams throughout the full solution lifecycle, from ideation and design to deployment and operational support.
The team values flexibility, knowledge sharing, pragmatic problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Travel requirements are expected to be limited.
