Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you will join the BeNeLux Merchandising team, playing a critical role in shaping seasonal assortments and driving commercial success across the BeNeLux wholesale marketplace. Working closely with Sales, Planning, Marketing, Category teams, and key external partners, you will help ensure that our product ranges reflect both consumer demand and customer needs while supporting sustainable business growth.

A significant part of your role will focus on the Foot Locker account, one of ASICS’ most strategically important wholesale partnerships. You will own the marketplace merchandising process for BeNeLux, translating market insights, performance data, competitor analysis, and customer requirements into commercially compelling seasonal assortments and range plans. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys taking ownership from day one.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Lead seasonal range planning for the BeNeLux wholesale market.
• Provide structured marketplace feedback on EMEA product lines before seasonal finalization.
• Build commercially competitive assortments through analysis of performance, trends and competitor activity.
• Partner with Sales teams and key wholesale accounts including Foot Locker.
• Collaborate with Planning, Marketing, Category and Sales teams.
• Monitor and analyze seasonal performance and assortment opportunities.
• Maintain high levels of merchandising data accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement of merchandising processes.

You have the following skills and experience:

• 2–4 years of merchandising, buying, commercial planning or related experience.
• Sportswear, footwear, apparel or fashion industry experience, with a passion for sport and consumer trends.
• Experience with strategic wholesale accounts.
• Experience with seasonal range planning and assortment building.
• Strong commercial, presentation and communication skills.
• Cross-functional stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to learn new merchandising systems quickly.
• Proactive, self-directed mindset.
• Fluent English (business level, written and spoken).
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, COUNTIFS, and text functions.
• Experience with Power BI or similar tools.

Nice-to-haves:

• Bachelor degree in business-related field.
• Dutch language skills.
• Experience with Trace6, SAP or similar platforms.
