The Role
The Assessor/Facilitator will support the delivery of virtual assessment centres for Early Careers recruitment programs. Working alongside Lead Assessors, the Facilitator will ensure assessment activities run smoothly, provide candidate support, and coordinate wrap-up and wash-up discussions following assessment sessions.
This is a fixed-term opportunity providing 2-4 months support with possibility to extend.
Key Accountabilities
Assessment Centre Support
- Support the delivery of assessment centre activities for Intern, Apprentice, and Graduate hiring programs.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of virtual assessment sessions.
- Manage candidate movement through assessment stages and provide guidance on the assessment process.
- Support assessors in ensuring adherence to assessment schedules and procedures.
Candidate Engagement
- Build positive relationships with candidates throughout the assessment journey.
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience.
- Address candidate queries and escalate issues when required.
- Maintain high levels of engagement and professionalism throughout sessions.
Session Management
- Support the administration of assessment tools, including TopScore.
- Ensure assessment documentation and records are accurately maintained.
- Assist with scheduling and session logistics as required.
Post-Assessment Review & Debrief Activities
- Facilitate post-assessment review discussions with assessors and stakeholders.
- Coordinate candidate session close-out activities and ensure a seamless assessment experience.
- Capture key observations, outcomes, and action items from assessment sessions.
- Support assessment debrief meetings and contribute to hiring recommendations where required.
Skills & Requirements
Must Haves-
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with candidates in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Passion for delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
Nice to Haves-
- Experience in Early Careers, Campus, Graduate, Apprentice, or Intern Recruitment.
- Proven experience facilitating assessment centres and/or conducting candidate assessments and interviews.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, selection, and assessment methodologies.
