The Opportunity
Drive the execution, reliability and continuous optimization of payment solutions for niche brands, ensuring secure, high-performing transaction journeys and a strong customer checkout experience. The role connects brand-specific needs with the global payments platform and helps translate platform capabilities into measurable business value.
Digital Business Platforms owns ecommerce platform capabilities, including payments & fraud, within the broader Digital, Data & AI Technology organization. The function operates in a model built to deliver business value, scale with governance and support customer experience through technology. Within the current team structure, Daniella Lilliu Atance leads the Payments & Fraud team under David Lopez, and the niche seat is explicitly identified as “Payment Ex. Niche.”
The ecommerce platform architecture is described as a shared multi-brand core, with the same payment stack across brand tiers and components including ProcessOut, Checkout.com, a Payments Orchestrator and an anti-fraud provider. The roadmap also references the implementation of the Puig Payments & Fraud platform in Byredo’s ecommerce during FY26, reinforcing the relevance of a niche-focused payment execution role.
What you'll get to do
Delivery & Execution
- Own the day-to-day coordination and follow-up of payment operations for niche brands, ensuring transaction flows perform reliably across ecommerce journeys.
- Support the rollout, validation and stabilization of payment platform capabilities for niche brands, working closely with engineering, QA, DevOps and platform teams when changes are deployed.
- Track payment incidents, service degradation, provider issues and rollout risks, ensuring fast escalation and structured resolution with the relevant teams.
- Help prepare and validate readiness for new payment features, provider changes, local market requirements or checkout updates affecting the niche brand portfolio.
Governance & Compliance
- Support adherence to payment-control standards, platform governance and secure-by-design principles in ongoing payment operations and enhancements.
- Coordinate with fraud-related stakeholders and payment counterparts to identify operational risks, unusual patterns and recurring transaction issues.

Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main operational contact for payment topics affecting niche brands, aligning platform teams with business priorities and launch timelines.
- Work with internal stakeholders across ecommerce, platform operations and business teams to clarify requirements, monitor business impact and coordinate next steps.
- Contribute to a clearer consolidated view of payment performance, open risks and delivery dependencies for the niche brand portfolio.
