Technical Specialist – Healthcare IT - LIMS
Omda · Solna, Sweden
You apply off-site, with the employer or the job board. I never handle applications.
Join our team and your talent could be part of creating software that helps healthcare professionals bring new life safely into the world, helps people live longer and more fully, and makes all the difference in emergencies when every second counts.
Our teams empower customers with tools to support their patients and help save lives. We currently have seven business areas that develop specialised software solutions across medical fields and emergency services. At Omda you’ll be close to customer needs and your work will have an impact where it matters most.
Our Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) business provides comprehensive support for all aspects of blood, cell and tissue management, with 180 blood centres across 5 countries utilising the platform.
As our Technical Specialist, you'll join a team that installs, upgrades and improves ProSang while maintaining customer and internal system environments. You'll split your time between deploying and upgrading ProSang environments, troubleshooting customer systems, and working with colleagues to improve deployments and technical solutions.
If this sounds interesting to you, join our team in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo or Gothenburg!

- Set up and configure Linux and Windows servers, including basic database administration and Oracle database setup
- Perform minor and major upgrades, patching, maintenance and troubleshooting of ProSang applications and modules
- Work directly with blood centres across the Nordics to solve technical challenges, plan upgrades and ensure stable system environments within the LIMS domain, while managing customer communication, requests and technical requirements
Your matching strengths for our role:
- Preferably a couple of years' experience with Windows and Linux environments (server and client), or equivalent technical knowledge and a strong willingness to learn
- Experience with software installation on Linux and Windows servers, including Oracle databases
- Good understanding of server infrastructure and error tracing
- Relevant education or equivalent experience
- Fluent in at least one Scandinavian language
- Flexible and able to handle unplanned tasks
- Familiar with customer-facing and internal communication
Would be great, but not mandatory, if you have:
- Knowledge of Oracle databases (installation, backup, and recovery)
- Comfort communicating with customers in both IT departments and healthcare organisations
We are interviewing continuously, therefore we recommend you submit your application as soon as possible.
Looking forward to meeting you!
