What to Expect This role keeps workshop infrastructure safe, reliable and well supplied, covering both facilities management and logistics. You will handle maintenance and repair of equipment, workshop assets and facility utilities, as well as warehouse inventory, materials flow, and on-site handling, including forklift operation.
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, with exposure to both logistics/warehouse operations and facilities management. You will work with engineering teams, other Tesla teams and vendors, as a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and excellent work are noticed and rewarded.
What You'll Do* Manage warehouse inventory, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, cycle counts, and accurate stock records
- Coordinate inbound and outbound materials to support workshop and engineering activity
- Operate a forklift truck and other handling equipment in line with site safety rules
- Keep the warehouse and storage areas tidy, labelled, and compliant with H&S requirements
- Handle daily facility requests and distribute them to vendors within your region
- Promptly resolve repair, maintenance, and upgrade issues for the facility
- Communicate with stakeholders on facility initiatives and projects
- Manage on-site assets
- Manage vendor relations, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Manage the full finance process from PO creation to invoice approval
- Respond to emergencies with prompt and effective solutions
What You'll Bring* Several years of experience in warehouse inventory management
- Exposure to facilities management
- Valid forklift truck licence / certification, or willingness and ability to obtain one
- Passion for Tesla’s mission and a drive to make a difference in the world
- High energy and comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work with various departments and external vendors
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (preferred), with strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
