As a Technical Lead, you will be working closely with and leading development teams as well as product teams. The role offers great scope to learn new technologies and provides the opportunity to work with renowned organizations and get involved in business improvement initiatives.
Compensation range: €45,000.00 To €60,000.00 Annually
The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, related experience and other related factors.
What you will be doing:

Provide pragmatic technical guidance to the development team, ensuring that the code developed is high quality and technical risks are estimated.

Work closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to remove ambiguity from requirements and with the Technical Architect, if applicable, to ensure alignment with high-level designs.

Monitor and shape the day-to-day progression of development, troubleshoot, provide guidance, coding (20% to 60% of the time) as well as ensuring documentation is created for functionality developed by the team.

Own the automated software deployment process and seeks methods to evolve it and influence and provide technical guidance to other members of the team, inspiring them through technical excellence. Expected to share their broad experience with the team.

Advocate methods to increase velocity and decrease waste in the development process.

Participate in code reviews, providing insight on quality, readability, performance, security, standards and best practices.

Contribute to the development of new applications standards and infrastructure and adheres to existing standards, methodologies and architectures and follow Copyright Clearance Center’s production processes, including source code management, environment management and implementation planning.

May be accountable for other results and activities as assigned, Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience building web-based and server-based applications using Java, Spring, relational database (PostgreSQL).

Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID Principles, and Design Patterns and experience with RESTful or GraphQL services and using Git version control system , Docker / Podman, CI/CD technologies and developing JavaScript code

Strong knowledge of TDD, Unit Tests, Mocking frameworks, and Integration Tests

Agile/SAFe Programming expertise with superior business analysis and technical skills and ability to serve as technological expert to junior and team staff and train on new applications.

Understanding of distributed applications involving asynchronous programming techniques, queuing, caching, logging, transactions, security and performance.

Proactive in identifying and assimilating emerging technologies and applications.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, subject to peer review and ability to set and meet deadlines and strong analytical and interpretative skills and problem-solving skills and critical thinking.

AWS infrastructure design, usage, and configuration and experience in Agile methodologies and understanding of non-functional requirements and enterprise Integration Patterns and C4 model
