We're looking for a Platform Engineer — Governance & Migration to join our team in Portugal in a fully remote working mode. In this role, you will implement governance workflows, migration processes, and lifecycle controls to ensure secure and compliant onboarding, approval, and management of MCP servers within the enterprise registry. Your work will enable reliable enforcement of enterprise standards for the Agent Development Platform—a cloud-native system designed to streamline AI agent orchestration, deployment, and observability at scale. This position involves building automation frameworks and registry services to reduce operational risk and accelerate platform adoption.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement governance workflows for MCP server onboarding and approval within the enterprise registry
- Develop lifecycle management controls for registry entries, including approval, active state validation, and decommission steps
- Automate migration processes for MCP server configurations and metadata using Python ETL scripting
- Enforce enterprise compliance policies through integrated governance gates across CI/CD pipelines
- Build reporting mechanisms for auditability, access tracking, and compliance verification
- Collaborate with security and platform governance teams to define validation criteria and approval rules
- Ensure process scalability and reliability in multi-team, distributed environments
- Deliver clear documentation on governance and migration procedures for platform users and stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in platform or data engineering roles
- Proven experience implementing enterprise governance workflow automation for platform services or registries
- Proficiency in Python for scripting automation and ETL pipelines
- Solid understanding of security and compliance best practices for enterprise systems
- CI/CD process integration for governance and control enforcement
Nice to have
- Exposure to MCP server architecture and registry design patterns
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools or governance frameworks in cloud-native environments
- Knowledge of audit logging, policy enforcement mechanisms, and role-based access models
- Background in migration strategies for distributed platforms operating at enterprise scale
