Your Opportunity
You will work on some of the Group's most important strategic, growth and transformation topics while gaining exposure to senior leaders across the company. Unlike traditional corporate strategy or analyst roles, this position combines strategic problem-solving with hands-on business impact and provides broad exposure across the Group's businesses and functions.
Your Role
- Support strategic growth, performance and portfolio decisions by combining market insights, business analysis and close collaboration with senior leaders across the Group.
- Take responsibility for your own topics, from the initial question through analysis and recommendation to implementation support.
- Contribute to key Group initiatives across growth, performance improvement, portfolio management, M&A and transformation.
- Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations and decision-ready materials for senior management.
- Work across all three Group Divisions, Voith Hydro, Voith Paper and Voith Turbo, as well as Corporate Functions.
- Collaborate closely with experienced strategy professionals, consultants and business leaders while building your own expertise and stakeholder network.
- Help shape a common strategy approach, analytical toolkit and performance culture across the Group.
- Build a broad understanding of industrial technology markets, customer needs and business value creation.
Your Profile
- A very strong academic record, ideally a Master’s degree or PhD in business, economics, engineering, natural sciences or another analytical discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or a research driven academic environment, for example through a PhD or comparable scientific work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex questions and develop practical recommendations.
- Curiosity, business judgement and a willingness to take ownership early in your career.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from different functions and levels of the organization.
- A genuine interest in industrial technology, business models and value creation.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a strong motivation to continuously learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
