Overview:
We are looking for a Trade & Promotion Sales Leader to join our Nutrition team at PepsiCo Spain HQ.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering best-in-class commercial execution plans across the Modern Trade channel for the Nutrition category. You will create short- and long-term value by leveraging consumer, shopper, and retailer insights, together with PepsiCo’s brand and customer strategies, to design impactful in-store solutions, activations, and commercial plans.
As the key link between Marketing and Sales, you will translate brand strategies into winning commercial execution. From assortment and promotional planning to in-store activation, you will ensure the commercial calendar is flawlessly executed in line with consumer priorities, channel opportunities, and business objectives.
You will also define execution standards and guidelines for in-store activities, driving excellence at the point of sale and continuously improving key commercial and shopper performance indicators. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams and key customers, you will help accelerate growth, strengthen execution capabilities, and maximize the impact of our Nutrition brands in the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Define the Modern Trade Commercial Calendar for the Nutrition category by channel, aligned with the Consumer Calendar and considering key channel priorities and restrictions. Set clear priorities and ensure all activities support profitable growth and Net Revenue targets.
- Define KPI ambitions and communicate the commercial calendar effectively to the different Sales teams, ensuring flawless execution across channels.
- Provide relevant channel and shopper insights to Marketing, Shopper, Revenue Management, and Sales teams through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Prepare and present business performance analysis in key decision-making forums (e.g., PMR, DMR, OT Staff meetings, and monthly sales reviews) for senior management.
- Design and implement high-impact point-of-sale materials and in-store activations that maximize shopper conversion and strengthen brand visibility.
- Manage the development and execution of coolers, permanent and temporary POS materials, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Identify and execute innovative shopper activation opportunities, including digital solutions and new execution tools, to increase penetration and improve the shopper experience.
- Share best practices with European and global Shopper Marketing teams and support the implementation of in-store innovation initiatives.
- Participate in FAST initiatives, contributing to North Star priorities by leading or collaborating in cross-functional Squads.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Around 3–5 years of experience in FMCG, ideally across areas such as Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Sales, Key Account Management, Category Management, Marketing, or Consumer Insights.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Results-oriented, with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across different functions.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the retail environment, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and translate them into execution plans.
