Position Overview

Responsible for the design, analysis, and optimisation of CRH International’s SAP data, data processes and data management applications in the centrally managed SAP templates. Ensuring high-quality data to support business processes and decision-making.

Focused on data governance, data processes and data migrations across key functional areas. Ensures strong data integrity and alignment with business and operational requirements, supporting core SAP processes and enabling advanced analytics through integrated SAP modules and tools. Plays a key role in identifying data insights, improving data models, and enhancing reporting capabilities to drive efficiency and business value.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Takes up functional ownership of centrally managed SAP data management and data governance solutions, ensuring they remain strategic assets with robust process design, compliance, and operational integrity across data governance domains.
  • Provides functional expertise and innovative approaches to maximize business value from Data, including process optimization, automation, and seamless integration with Finance, Procurement, Maintenance, Production, Sales, inventory, and manufacturing execution functions.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert for SAP Data Governance and migrations across S/4 upgrades or roll-out projects, acquisitions, divestments, system evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures high‑quality and timely delivery of Data (mass) changes by performing analysis, estimation, mass maintenance, testing and documentation activities across both project work and operational demand.
  • Ensures reliable and efficient data support services for all business units.
  • Contributes to cross functional activities like automated testing scripts, data migration, process documentation and Fiori implementation.
  • Teams up closely with the functional and technical SAP teams, including Sales and Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Maintenance and the Development team, to ensure end‑to‑end process integration and data consistency. Key Functional Competencies

You are/have:

  • Broad functional knowledge of the most common SAP modules (FICO, MM; SD, PM).
  • Deep understanding of data management processes for most Common SAP Master Data objects (Vendors, Customers, Materials, BOMs, Routings, Pricing conditions,…)
  • Strong technical and functional knowledge of SAP Data management and governance applications (LSMW (ECC), Migrate your data app (S/4), MDG, other SAP data tools)
  • It’s a big advantage to have experience with SNP Kyano Foundation and Move.
  • Ability to enforce governance and process standards across SAP data management Processes.
  • Cooperating in an SAP Competence center following internal processes for Demand and incident resolution. Experience / Education

You are/have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field

  • Certifications in SAP MDG or other data related certifications.

  • Multiple years of experience in SAP S/4 data migrations

  • Experience in delivering SAP implementations/upgrades

  • Experience of working internationally with different countries / cultures

  • Experience of working in an internal SAP Competence Center is a plus Key Characteristics
