Freelance Tour Guide – Aarhus
About the Role
Guydeez is seeking enthusiastic locals in Aarhus to join as freelance tour guides. You’ll lead private walking tours for small groups, sharing the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems in an engaging way.
Responsibilities
- Conduct walking tours (3–8 hours) in Aarhus.
- Share cultural and historical insights in an engaging and interactive style.
- Adapt each tour to guest interests and language preferences.
- Ensure smooth logistics and an enjoyable experience for visitors.
- Optionally host themed or gastronomy-focused tours.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Aarhus’s history, culture, and main attractions.
- Fluency in at least one of the following: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Chinese.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable leading tours lasting several hours.
- Previous experience in guiding, hosting, or hospitality is a plus.
