As our new Senior Technical Sales Support Engineer, you will support external sales primarily for the Danish & Norwegian aquaculture vertical.

You will join a European Sales Support team which covers the Nordic Countries & countries in South of Europe, so interaction with these areas can also be expected.

Apart from this team, we have Sales Support teams covering Europe so you will be part of an international group with colleagues in Europe.

A glimpse into the role

As a Senior Technical Sales Support Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor to optimizing DESMI’s sales processes. Your role mainly revolves around:

• Prepare technical quotes with associated documentation for sales team and submit them to customers
• Communicate with customers as needed in day-to-day support
• Work closely with account manager to create customer success
• Coordinate closely with internal departments (Order Management, Planning, R&D, Projects, Procurement, etc.) to ensure smooth order execution & delivery.
• Support the sales support team with knowledge and capacity

In this role, you will support the sales team with technical quotations and coordinate with colleagues across the organization. We also imagine that you:

• Have an educational background as technical marine, process, industry- or mechanical engineer or similar
• Have a strong technical understanding in pumping technology, engineering and automation
• Have commercial and legal experience with risk evaluation, payment terms, negotiation etc.
• Have excellent communication skills in one of the Nordic languages and English. Proficiency in any other languages are welcomed
• Preferably have hands on experience from the process or aquaculture industry
• Are service minded and ready to support across teams
• Have a cross-cultural understanding
