Long Description
Forvia Interiors is looking for a Troubleshooting / QSS position to be based in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.
Main Mission
The role of the risk mitigation and troubleshooting team is to manage supply chain in risk/crisis and to manage the requirements of urgent transport flows:
- Set up a coverage report retrieve for all impacted suppliers/plants
- Arbitrate priorities of plants’ needs
- Ensure the correct documentation is available for suppliers/plants (inbound deliveries, manifests)
- Ensure that urgent shipments are triggered, selected, and delivered on time
- Troubleshoot any issue that may arise during the delivery process
- Communicate additional costs due to disturbances to the Service quality and performance team
Deliverables, Performance Indicators
- Alerts: # of red and yellow alerts
- Stoppage OEM ( PF4)
Specific activities
Execution
- Daily monitoring of suppliers in crisis through meetings/action plan and arbitration (priority list record daily)
- Coordinate and require urgent procurement/shipments, together with premium team, and reporting if need it the tracking shipments
- Initiate premium freight
- Communicate with Plants, Suppliers and Traffic schedulers team, carriers to ensure arrival of items on-time
- Maintain accurate FCS datas based on suppliers deliveries
- Ensure that backlogs / firm and fcst figures are executed as in standard conditions (Bi or Weekly EDI to be send )
- Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to optimize delivery operations
- When necessary, active participation in escalation meetings with OEMs, providing all the data's need it.
- Working close with suppliers in case of arbitration needs, even if necessary to be in suppliers' facilities.
- Execute meeting minutes to involve members and plants ensuring that information is transparent to all organization
- Ensure the good communication with Purchasing and Sales having the initiative to deploy WS and escalations
- Ensure that timelines / traceability of the problems is delivery when request by plants / purchasing / sales
- Maintenance of LADS, even if update in mass
- Supporting Network Design design , Key Users, Masterdata for Improvements link with routines P&T - Information leadtime, ISO, pick ups, ASN , …
- Ensure that all the recharge evidences are share with QSS team to better mitigate the QP reports
Team Management, Training & Communication
- Meet the code of conduct of the Company and promote it within her/his team. Behave as a “role model”, according to the “Being Faurecia” spirit
- Provide support (technical/managerial) to her/his team and escalade issues to his Manager, when required
- Cascade all important information to her/his team, provide reporting to her/his manager
- Select, manage & develop her/his direct reports
- Manage the skills of her/his team, define the training plans in relation with HR and Plant PC&L.
- Conduct the annual assessments of her/his team members
- Be an active member of the Supply Chain network (pro-active communication on Faur’us, …) Qualifications
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management
- Experience in transport operations or material planning
- SAP and TMS tools knowledge
- Multi-functional & Multi-cultural communication with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and team members
- Minimum bi-lingual (English + one other languages)
- Customer orientation / Team spirit / Autonomy / Decision-maker / Resiliency / Openness to new ideas
- Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
- Ability to work under time pressure and to work flexible hours as needed to ensure timely delivery of urgent shipments
