Manager Maintenance Operations
Location: Uppsala, Sweden
At Galderma, we are dedicated to advancing dermatology for every skin story. We are now looking for an engaged and driven Manager Maintenance Operations to join our team in Uppsala.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our manufacturing organization, supporting operational excellence, continuous improvement, and the successful delivery of business objectives.
About the Role
As a Manager Maintenance Operations, you will be responsible for leading a team and supporting the execution of operational plans, processes, and initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will play an important role in ensuring that production-related activities are delivered efficiently, while contributing to process improvements, organizational development, and operational performance.
Working closely with colleagues across Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, and other key functions, you will help drive continuous improvements while ensuring that processes, policies, and standards are implemented effectively.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with early leadership experience who is looking to further develop their people management and operational capabilities within a global and highly regulated organization.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support a team to ensure strong performance, engagement, and development.

Support the implementation and execution of operational plans, programs, and processes.

Coordinate and monitor manufacturing-related activities to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across production, planning, engineering, and operational processes.

Support transformation and change initiatives to improve ways of working and operational effectiveness.

Ensure that policies, procedures, and standards are understood and followed within the team.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

Support production planning and operational coordination activities when required.

Provide guidance on operational matters and contribute to effective decision-making.

Build and maintain strong working relationships across functions and stakeholder groups.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, Supply Chain, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience.

Approximately 1–5 years of experience within manufacturing, production, operations, engineering, supply chain, or a related environment.

Previous experience leading, coordinating, mentoring, or supporting teams.

Understanding of manufacturing and operational processes.

Experience working with process improvements, problem solving, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to prioritize activities and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
